As the exclusive Canadian representative of GERB, the German pioneer in vibration isolation and damping systems since 1908, we bring world-class technology and over a century of experience to projects across Canada. Our Story

Born from the need for precision-engineered vibration solutions, NM Engineering was founded to deliver specialized expertise in structural dynamics. Our journey began with a simple mission: to bring the most advanced vibration control systems to Canadian infrastructure and industry.
Through a strategic partnership with GERB, headquartered in Berlin and active in over 20 countries with more than 600 employees, NM Engineering became the exclusive link between German innovation and Canadian engineering. This collaboration has allowed us to tackle some of the most demanding vibration challenges across sectors—from architectural landmarks to energy and rail infrastructure.

About Gerb

Since 1908, GERB has worked to control vibration and structure-borne noise. GERB designs and supplies vibration control systems based on helical steel spring elements, viscous fluid dampers (Viscodampers®), tuned mass dampers (TMD), closed-cell polyurethane elasticity solutions (NOVODAMP®), and sliding bearings.
